A yellow cardboard box full of lose photographs was transformed into a book. Looking at the pictures raised many questions about people, their relations, surroundings and circumstances.
In order to stimulate a dialogue with a book the questions, comments and observations were printed directly next to the photographs.
Further it raised general questions about photography in the present and past. Why do people love to pose in groups? What is the difference between taking group photos today and in the past? How did the development of internet and constant exposure of pictures affected the act of photographing groups? This book is the initial of an ongoing study about semiotics in photography.
