Texthibition focuses on texts and captions that can be usually found in exhibitions in order to explore the topic of exhibition design. The purpose is to show different perspectives on exhibition design by using text as a visual form of information transfer. The first approach was to explore the topic by understanding the exhibition designer's everyday work.
In order to do so it was important to collect different stories, statements and experiences from various designers.
Further the intention was to structure the gathered information by the choice of typefaces, sizes, spacing, materiality and placement in a visually appealing arrangement. Setting up the arrangement was a spontaneous and improvised act. The application itself was the final result - exhibiting exhibition design.
